-Deadlifting
-Swings
-Snatches

I've noticed how lot of people, even young, don't have any muscle at all in their posterior chain. Horrible.

Great article frankie.
I've found the lunge to be something that doesn't need to be trained as much as many people would predict or place in programmes.
The least testing lower body pattern on myself and my client base - especially performed with upright posture as traditionally taught.
I've found it useful on occasions if someone has asymmetrical hip flexion/extension flexibility issues but once pattern is established the need dimishes significantly.
It seems to me to be a pattern that moves forward as a result of getting better else where rather than needing to directly improve it.
Single leg squat variations seem to be much more effective and needed - I guess due to the forward flexion position of the spine which has better carryover to how we move in life movements as you point out.

Awesome article! I liked your intensity/volume/density discussion at the cert also. Biggest change I've made lately is stopping my eating when I slow down. I have been eating the same way for YEARS. It shows- my body isn't changing! It will when I start changing things.

Your material is always thought provoking and for that I'm grateful. Most of the time I test, sometimes I just get moving because my "state" is ready and I don't need to question it, but even then I test between sets to see where it's going. More often than not the mind leads the movement, but sometimes the movement steers the mind. It's a win either way.
